Commons & Lords Debate Self-Regulation for Greyhound Racing

The greyhound regulations will be debated in both the Commons and Lords on the same day – next Tuesday 8th February. In both cases the debates will be in committee – not on the floors of the houses. 

The Commons debate will occur in the "Fourth Draft Legislation Committee" which starts work at 11:00am.  

The Lords debate will occur in their Grand Committee. This committee starts work at 3:30pm and they expect to get to the greyhound regulations at 4:30pm. 

EDM386 (please refer to earlier Greyhound Compassion news item)  has gained the support of 162 MPs – exactly 25% of all MPs. Of the 826 EDMs in play at the moment, EDM386 is the 12th most supported.
