Heather & Jacqui are back

Heather and Jacqui are just back from Scooby where they helped care for the 130 galgos saved during the mega rescue.

The photo shows some of the 130 galgos now safe at Scooby.  Heather and Jacqui will update us further when they emerge from their Radox baths!  Suffice to say, they spent time cleaning, feeding and administering tender loving care.  They worked alongside a visiting volunteer and highly experienced vet, who was able to neuter 10 galgos a day.  They worked in the newly built on-site "hospital".  Greyhound Compassion's fund-raising efforts contributed towards the hospital and some of our volunteers laid the bricks. So we are pleased to see it used on such a mammoth scale for so many rescues.
