Eden is walking and history in the making

The female galgo who suffered a broken neck when she was thrown into the dry well  is on the mend and up and walking.  The other bitch who was in a fragile condition is gaining weight steadily.

Further to the international pressure on the Spanish authorities, the police pursued the investigation and  the alleged guilty man has been formally accused (having been interviewed by the police with his lawyer present) of cruel abandonment of his dogs and of making a false claim of theft.  The case is now in the hands of the court and the outcome remains to be seen. Nonetheless, as far as we know this is the first time in Spanish history that the law has been enforced for cruelty to the galgos.  Scooby is being represented by a good lawyer in the prosecution.
