3 galgos rescued from a reservoir chamber

Three galgos were rescued from a reservoir chamber in Malpica de Tajo in the province of Toledo last week.  Pictures attached.  Thankfully it has not rained a lot in this area so far this year so it was dry.  This was clearly an attempt to kill the galgos because in order to rescue the dogs, the Scooby team had to remove a heavy manhole cover. The people who alerted Scooby to the dogs think they had been there for 4 days.  The dogs were neither tattooed nor microchipped, so it will not be possible to trace the owner.  Scooby has made an official report to the police. All of the dogs are progressing well at the Scooby shelter.
