Update on galgos rescued from the well

On a recent working visit to the Scooby shelter, some Greyhound Compassion volunteers met the 5 galgos rescued from a 30 m well in Alaejos on 6 January. Eden, the young bitch who suffered a broken neck is now fully recovered and skipping around the shelter. All 5 are confident and have warmed to human to contact. They are affectionate and friendly. The court case is apparently being assessed in Madrid and could take up to one year, which means the dogs must stay in Scooby’s care until then. Fingers crossed that the court finds in the dogs’ favour.
