How has Greyhound Compassion spent its income?
Greyhound Compassion thought it would be useful to let you know how the money raised over the last 8 months or so has been/will be spent:
£4,000 to Greyhound Rescue (Boston, Lincs) to contribute towards the rebuilding of purpose built kennels and a food preparation area.
£3,000 to Limerick Animal Welfare - subsistence/veterinary costs for the greyhounds in their care. This amount will cover the greyhound expenses for one month and a half.
£3,000 earmarked for Dungarvan Rescue (County Waterford, Ireland). This will cover roughly 3 transports of 10 rescued greyhounds per transport from Ireland to the UK, where they stand a much better chance of finding a home.
£3,000 earmarked for Protectora de Animales Scooby (Spain) for reinforced fencing around the galgo enclosures. Invoices are pending and GC expects to pay this in the coming month.
